Meet the Founder
Robert Walker, CPA, CMA
Founder & Principal Consultant, Syn-Terra
Robert Walker is a strategic advisor, technology translator, and transformation leader with over 15 years of experience driving change at the intersection of business, finance, and innovation. With a foundation in corporate strategy and operational execution, he has spent his career helping organizations align their vision with real-world outcomes.
Prior to launching Syn-Terra, Robert held senior leadership roles in both traditional industries and high-growth technology environments—most notably in Alberta's energy sector, where he supported the development of one of the province's first LNG ventures serving industrial and remote community needs. During that time, he helped shape the business unit's operating model, established logistics and billing systems integrated with field technology, and supported partnerships with a provincial power provider in the Arctic. His work during that period planted the seed for a broader mission: to reimagine how organizations adapt, grow, and lead in an era of rapid technological evolution.
That mission came full circle while leading enterprise-level strategy planning and digital roadmapping projects—most recently helping a major business membership organization modernize its systems, streamline internal inefficiencies, and build a long-term, technology-aligned strategy. These engagements consistently revealed the same truth... organizations don't just need more technology—they need better alignment, better understanding of the current environment, smarter workflows, and human-focused transformation.

Jacob Sirrs

Jacob Sirrs is a systems thinker, creative problem solver, and norm disruptor with a strong track record of helping organizations rethink how they work, adapt, and grow in evolving environments. His passion lies in challenging the status quo—introducing innovative approaches that help businesses achieve more than they thought possible.
With a foundation in business automation, implementation strategy, and technical enablement, Jacob has built a career on curiosity that is driven to understand not just how and why things work, but how they can work better. He's collaborated with companies across a range of industries in North America, designing and delivering modern workflow solutions that reduce friction, increase visibility, and enable meaningful scale. Whether supporting growing agencies or advising larger organizations on system design, his focus has remained consistent: understand the problem deeply, question existing assumptions, and build creative pathways toward better outcomes.
Before co-founding Syn-Terra, Jacob spent years designing custom automations, optimizing client success operations, and integrating tools like Recall.ai, OpenAI, Zapier, Make.com and ClickUp into unified enterprise systems that actually make people's work easier. That hands-on experience has shaped his belief that innovation isn't about complexity, it's about clarity, alignment, and meeting people where they are.
Jacob continues to explore the edges of what's possible, constantly learning, testing, and refining new ways of working. His goal with Syn-Terra is simple: to help organizations stop chasing "what's next" and start building what's better.
